FILMING DAY
20th January:
Today we filmed the opening scenes that take place in the bedroom. We all took the bus back to my house so we could set up and be done as soon as possible. It took us under an hour to set everything up and get all the filming done. After we had finished filming I texted the owners of the Cordite factory to confirm that we could film tomorrow and then picked up the keys for the main building.

21st January:
We left for Holton heath at about 8 am because we needed to make sure we managed to get all the shots today as we are not sure if we will be allowed back in in the future. We had checked the weather the day before and it luckily it turned out to be an overcast day with not much variation, which is really good for continuity when we were shooting outside. When we got there we opened the main building and took pictures of our actor in costume. We started by filming most of the shots in the dark room because we noticed the lighting that was coming in through the doors might look good on camera. We filmed the shots outside and then came back inside to finish everything else.Unfortunately towards the end of filming we had to switch to my camera because the one we were using ran out of battery. Because of this some of the shots we took are going to look and sound a lot different to the others, but hopefully this is something we can improve a little in editing. Overall it took us around 4 and a half hours to get everything we wanted. Also i just found out that we are not going to be using the scenes that included the black sludge i made, so Erika got that on her face for nothing. I had it on my feet for a few hours as well and i'm pretty sure i accidentally made an adhesive because when i tried to take my socks off later it was so painful.
