AS MEDIA STUDIES BLOG

We decided that we wanted the plot to be about a young child who has run away from home with their dog and finds themselves in an some kind of abandoned/derelict place. The scene would start with them waking up in a sleeping bag in this place followed by them getting up to explore. We are choosing not to use too much dialogue in it however ,by using mise-en-scene correctly the audience will be able to know that they have run away from home and the kind of situation they are in. The middle part of the film will consist of the character exploring the place after tying up is dog and leaving him with a tennis ball. Towards the end of the film we will show a shot of the dog running up to the character and the  ball rolling round the corner behind him.  The character then feels something drip onto his face from above him and as he looks up we will have a high angle shot that shows someone stepping into the frame behind him. The end.
